MACHYNLLETH

Nestling in the Dyfi valley, Machynlleth is the ancient capital of Wales and was the site of Owain Glyndwr's Welsh Parliament in 1404.

The most prominent feature of the town is the Town Clock. Built in 1874 it forms the centre piece of the town (more info about the clock's history at www.machynlleth.eu)
